Fully HDCP compliant
the EXT-HDMI-442 is a simple solution when you have up to Four HDMI equipped
Sources (DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc or SKY HD) and want to view your Sources
on Two Displays (Plasma, LCD or Projector) simultaneously.
You can also use the 442 switch in a Home Cinema room to view your HDMI
equipped Sources on your Projector or your Display - both Outputs don't
have to be active for trouble free operation.
Connect up to Four Source devices to the Gefen switch using the Four supplied Gefen HDMI cables (2m) and two HDMI output cables (not supplied) from the Switch to your TV , Display or Projector.
Use the Supplied 'Credit
Card' Remote to seamlessly switch between your Four Source devices and
view them on one or other or both Displays.
Connect a single Coaxial RCA to RCA cable (not supplied) from the switch
to your AV Amp to hear the Digital Audio present on the HDMI cable of
your Source device - please note your Source may not be outputting a 5.1
signal via HDMI!
The supplied Remote
has Discrete Source selection codes which is ideal if you wish to 'Learn'
the codes to your programmable remote.
The EXT-HDMI-442 also includes an RS232 port for integration and control
from a PC or via a Home Theatre Control system.
