The HDCATIR
is a unique device that extends HDMI to the remote location plus enables
IR Return from the remote location back to the Source location - all over
two Twisted Pair (CAT5 or CAT6) cables.

| Power over Cable (PoC) - the HDCATIR is now a single PSU system - the Receiver unit (positioned behind your Display or Projector) now receives it's power over the CAT5 or CAT6 cables connected to the Transmitter unit. |
Key Features:
HDMI 1.3 compliant - supports 1080p video, Deep Color, lossless HD audio and is backwards compatible with first generation HDMI equipment.
3D compatible
- we've tested the extender with
Blu-ray 3D and SKY+ HD 3D.
Active
Drive - compensation circuitry with Auto EQ for long or short cables
ensures error free HD video and Audio transmission for a lossless HD experience.
Installer friendly:
Single PSU - only the Transmitter (Tx) requires an external 5v PSU (supplied) saving space and a power socket at the rear of your Display or Projector.
New
Slim Line Chassis - both the Tx and Rx units use a new 83mm x 65mm
x 22mm chassis.
Screw down Lugs - both the Tx and Rx units sport optional screw down lugs (supplied) to enable secure installation in AV Racks or behind Source and Display equipment.
CAT5
or CAT6 cables - will deliver 1080p60 up to 35m over Dual CAT6 cables.
This unit is also compatible with CAT5 and CAT5e cables though where possible
we advise folk to install CAT6 cable (we do on all of our installs!).
IR cables - kit includes 1 x Input + 1 x Output cable.
