Media Factory - Octava HDMICAT-UK, HDMI over CAT5 extender

Small, lightweight and supplied to our UK and Ireland customers with 240v CE marked power supplies these units are very simple to integrate into any system where a Copper or Fibre optic HDMI cable is impractical, unreliable or too costly.

The Transmitter (Tx) unit is attached to the HDMI Output cable from your Source device, HDMI Switch, HDMI Distribution Amp or AV Receiver.

The Receiver (Rx) unit is attached to the HDMI Input cable on your Display, Projector or AV Receiver.

Two Low cost twisted pair cables are used to connect the Tx and Rx units - CAT5 cable is fine in most circumstances for 1080i and 1080p; though for longer 1080p runs (30m+) CAT6 is more reliable.

The 6.75 Gbs aggregate Date rate ensures compatibility with all current HDMI standards (Inc. v1.3).
