Eight Front panel Toggle buttons with LED indictors allow you to quickly
select which Input you wish to route to which Output.
PoC (Power over Cable) is a Unique feature which greatly simplifies your In-room installation with no requirement for a power supply behind each Display device.
Outputs A and B have 'always-on' mirrored HDMI Output sockets to connect to a local Display via HDMI.
Dual RJ-45 sockets send your HD signals over dual runs of CAT6 cable to remote Zones.
The dual RJ-45 outputs connect to the matching HDCATIR-RX-UK In-room Receiver's over distances up to 35m using low cost easy to install CAT6 cable with support for signals up to and including 1080p60.
Note - for 1080p60 signal extension we recommend CAT6 over CAT5 or CAT5e; we quote a nominal distance of 35m though installers report they can run to 45m and longer.
With integral Routed IR Passthru from each of the In-room Receiver units the HD48CATMX-UK cuts down on the required number of cables in a multi room installation and minimises the requirement for a costly stand alone IR cable network and In-room receiver's.
A new
36 button remote allows single button Source to Zone mapping with discreet
IR codes per button for simple integration with learning remotes and control
systems.
The HD48CATMX-UK has five installer selectable EDID modes to ensure best compatibly in the most challenging HDMI networks plus is programmable with custom EDID using the New USB port.
The rear RS232 port enables full integration with control systems such as AMX, Crestron and Control4.
