The HDOCAT-BD-UK is a unique device that offers HDMI to the remote location plus Bi-directional Optical Digital Audio and IR Passthru - all over two CAT5 or CAT6 cables.

Active Drive - compensation circuitry with Auto EQ for long or short cables ensures error free HD video and Audio transmission for a lossless HD experience.

IR Passthru - user selectable IR Passthru enables remote control via the CAT6 cables of your Source devices or your remote Display device!

Optical Passthru - user selectable Digital Audio Passthru from the Source device to a remote Zone or from a remote Zone to your central audio processor - ideal if you want to bring Digital audio back from a TV's internal Freeview or Freesat tuner.

Installer friendly:

Dual PSU - for ultimate signal stability we supply a PSU for both the Transmitter and Receiver units.

Screw down Lugs - both the Tx and Rx units sport optional screw down lugs (supplied) to enable secure installation in AV Racks or behind Source and Display equipment.

CAT5 or CAT6 cables - will deliver 1080p60 up to 35m over Dual CAT6 cables. This unit is also compatible with CAT5 and CAT5e cables though where possible we advise folk to install CAT6 cable (we do on all of our installs!).

IR cable - kit includes 1 x Input + 1 x Output IR cable.
