To supply and install five Pioneer PDP 502mx plasma display screens and a Pioneer DVD 7300 dvd player within the main public space of the William Younger Centre. The installation was to be the initial stage of a new public information system.
The greatest challenge within this project being the mounting arrangements for the screens. Each screen had to be hung from the main roof support columns and orientated to ensure an optimum viewing angle without compromising the aesthetics of the building.
Our in-house design team drew up detailed plans in AutoCAD which were approved by our customer and their architects. Our AutoCAD files were then transferred electronically to a local steel fabrication plant and the brackets manufactured and finished to our exact requirements.
The finished installation is a very dramatic one and has ensured the greatest impact from the screens and an extremely delighted customer.
