UK wide and flexible delivery

To implement the delivery of training to staff at BT sites

BT's spend on training alone, is probably as great as a good-sized companies' entire turnover. The challenge that BT faced was that they had to reach some 150,000 engineers with a raft of culture change and technical training material. This would involve considerable travel and subsistence expenses and time 'out of the loop'. Their inspired solution was to bring the training to the people, not the people to the training. They ordered eight custom-built mobile multimedia theatres kitted out with state-of-the-art multimedia delivery systems. Installing powerful systems is one thing; keeping them running is quite another. Our philosophy was simple. Install a future proof, powerful system and provide the highest quality on-site technicians to man the trucks continuously. We then employed BT's own ISDN30 and ISDN2e technology to connect the theatres directly to The Media Factory. This secured instant feedback, information delivery and diagnostics. It also allowed us to feed audience response data back to the BT Intranet for analysis.

DevelopmentXpress is a first and The Media Factory put it there.
