The HDMI5 is an HDMI v1.3 compliant Five Input, Single Output Digital Video and Audio switcher capable of Switching SKY HD, HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc players up to 1080p (including Deep Colour enabled sources to 1080i).

The HDMI5 can Input and switch DVI, HDMI and DVI with HDCP Source signals and Output to a DVI*, HDMI or DVI with HDCP Input on your Display or Projector.

*HDCP encrypted source signals can only be switched to an HDCP compliant
Display device.

HDMI audio is carried through the switcher if you use HDMI to HDMI cables between your Source and the HDMI5 and HDMI to HDMI cables between the HDMI5 and your Display.

With Coaxial and Optical Audio Inputs plus cross conversion between Coaxial and Optical your digital audio sources are available on mirrored Digital audio Outputs (1 x Coaxial + 1 x Optical).

Using the Front Panel, IR or RS232 the HDMI5 enables 'Audio Breakaway' between HDMI Video and Optical or Coaxial Digital audio - you can toggle through all active video sources without changing the Audio Output to your AV Receiver.

The HDMI5 features independently adjustable equalization on each of its inputs. Easy front panel adjustment allows sparkle free video when using input cable lengths of up to 65ft (20m) in the 1080p mode, and even longer lengths in lower resolution modes. Or by adjusting for short cables noise immunity is increased, for increased picture stability.

The HDMI5 uses Zektor's Secure HDMI™ clamping system to prevent HDMI cables from falling out of the back of your unit. You can literally hang an HDMI5 by an HDMI cable! (We don't recommend this as a mounting practice).

With a Brushed Aluminium Fascia (Silver or Black), all steel rack mountable chassis, front panel source selection and dimmable LED indictors the HDMI5 will sit alongside any high quality AV Product.

RS232 and hardwired IR are included as standard features, as well as two general purpose relays for controlling lights, fans, projector screens, etc.
