Launched in 2006 the HDVI5 is a fully HDMI compatible Five Input Single Output Digital Video and Audio switcher.

The HDVI5 can Input and switch HDMI, DVI and DVI with HDCP source signals and Output to an HDMI, DVI* or DVI with HDCP Input on your Display or Projector.

*HDCP encrypted source signals can only be switched to an HDCP compliant
Display device.

HDMI audio is carried through the switcher if you use HDMI to DVI cables between your Source and the HDVI5 and DVI to HDMI cables between the HDVI5 and your HDMI equipped Display.

With Coaxial and Optical Audio Inputs plus cross conversion between Coaxial and Optical all of your digital audio sources are available on three mirrored Digital audio Outputs (2 x Coaxial + 1 x Optical).

Using the Front Panel controls or IR the HDVI5 enables 'Audio Breakaway' - you can toggle through all active video sources without changing the Audio Output to your AV Receiver.

With a Brushed Aluminium Fascia (Silver or Black), all steel rack mountable chassis, front panel source selection and dimmable LED indictors the HDVI5 will sit alongside any high quality AV Product.

RS232 and hardwired IR are included as standard features, as well as two general purpose relays for controlling lights, fans, projector screens, etc.
