The MAS7.1 is an HDMI 1.3 compatible Three Input, Single Output Digital Video plus 7.1 Analogue Audio switcher capable of Switching SKY HD, HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc players up to 1080p (including Deep Colour enabled sources).

The MAS7.1 is a unique device!

For many customers the ability to switch three 7.1 Analogue Audio sources will be reason enough to introduce the switch into any high quality system.

For other customers the added ability to simultaneously switch HDMI signals will reduce the requirement to add a second stand alone switch to their system.

To further enhance the MAS7.1's capabilities Zektor have included the ability to also switch Optical or Coaxial 5.1 Digital Audio alongside the HDMI and Analogue audio connections.

The MAS7.1 can Input and switch DVI, HDMI and DVI with HDCP Source signals and Output to a DVI*, HDMI or DVI with HDCP Input on your Display or Projector.

*HDCP encrypted source signals can only be switched to an HDCP compliant
Display device.

HDMI audio is carried through the switcher if you use HDMI to HDMI cables between your Source and the HDMI5 and HDMI to HDMI cables between the HDMI5 and your Display.

With Coaxial and Optical Audio Inputs plus cross conversion between Coaxial and Optical your digital audio sources are available on two mirrored Digital audio Outputs (1 x Coaxial + 1 x Optical).

The MAS7.1 can be configured as two independent switches. The 7.1 audio channels can be split to create a 5.1 channel, and a stereo audio, switch, allowing the L/R stereo signals to be switched independent of the 5.1 channel audio. The digital audio and HDMI switches, can be configured to follow the 5.1 audio or stereo audio switch, or any combination of the above.

The MAS7.1 was designed with audio in mind, however the passive analog switching used in the MAS7.1 is that same as that used in our passive video switches. Each of the eight analog channels feature a 0Hz-200MHz +0/-3dB frequency response and can be used to switch 1080p component video as well as audio signals.

With a Brushed Aluminium Fascia (Silver or Black), all steel rack mountable chassis, front panel source selection and dimmable LED indictors the MAS7.1 will sit alongside any high quality AV Product.

For compatibility with Crestron or AMX type setups, an RS-232 port is included with the MAS7.1. The bi–directional RS-232 protocol allows for full control and inquiry of the current MAS7.1 state.
